Shari Rothstein
Shari Rothstein is a Jewish educational leader with over 20 years of experience successfully impacting students, families and educators while promoting the love of Judaism and learning. She joined the TSWE family in July of 2019. Prior to coming to TSWE, Shari served as the Associate Director of Religious School at Temple Emanu-El of Westfield, NJ for five years. Previously, she was the Religious School Principal at Congregation Kehilat Shalom in Belle Mead, NJ. From 1992 to 2014, Shari held various teaching and volunteer positions at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, where she is still a congregant and past board member. Over the years, she has served on several non-profit boards. 
 
Shari has a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (2018) with Master’s Concentration in Israel Education from the iCenter (2019).  Additionally, Shari has her Reform Jewish Educator (RJE) credentials, a title given to educators meeting academic and professional standards. She is a former Fellow in the Leadership Institute, a two and a half year joint program of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she had an opportunity to expand her knowledge of and build a vision of educational leadership. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Associate in Science Degree in Management from Bentley University. Shari is a member of the Association of Reform Jewish Educators.
Shari grew up in Huntington, NY where she was an active teen at Temple Beth El. She currently lives in Roseland with her husband Marc. They have two adult children, Emily and Adam and a daughter-in-law, Taylor.
