Brotherhood

The Brotherhood is an affiliate organization which provides service to the temple community.  The Brotherhood’s members organize, sponsor and volunteer for a number of important temple activities.
 
  • Pasta dinners, which are held monthly after religious school are funded by Brotherhood and the sponsorships of congregants
  • Yom Kippur Break-the-Fast is organized by Brotherhood,  and provides a community-wide meal for congregants following closing services
  • Yom Hashoah candle packing, High Holy Day ushering and Purim Carnival and other temple events are all supported by Brotherhood volunteers
  • Brotherhood Softball 
In the last few years Rabbi Groffman has brought together Brotherhood as a Men’s Group that has gathered together for some great events, see below.
  • Dinner at Mish Mish a Mediterrian restaurant in Montclair
  • Katz's Deli dinner trip
  • Speakers such as Marty Schneit
  • Beer Tasting Event, hosted by our own member Paul Silverman
