Shabbat Services

Friday Night Shabbat Services

5:30 PM Tot Shabbat Services are held throughout the year. This service is led by Rabbi Groffman and Cantor Kupfer and offers families with younger children (ages 3-6) an opportunity to engage with Shabbat in an enthusiastic worship environment.  Song, stories and movement are incorporated with the basic prayers.  Tot Shabbat is followed by a pizza dinner and arts & crafts for the children.

6:30 PM Family Friday night Shabbat Services are typically the first Friday night of the month September through June.  This service includes joyful singing by Rabbi Groffman and Cantor Kupfer.  Religious school students K-6, youth group members and our own TSWE Musicians occasionally participate at this service.  We celebrate Birthday Shabbat at this service.

7:30 PM Traditional Friday night Shabbat services are conducted by Rabbi Groffman and Cantor Kupfer September through June.  Our Rabbi Emeritus, Rabbi Norman Patz periodically conducts a service.  We celebrate Volunteer Shabbat on the 3rd Friday of the month and Anniversary Shabbat on the last Friday of the month.
