Planned Giving

By remembering Temple Sholom in their estate plans, congregants can leave tangible evidence of the temple’s importance in their lives and the lives of their families, while ensuring the temple will remain a vibrant place of worship for others in years to come.

Remembering the temple in an estate plan is easy:

  1. Determine if you want to make a gift of a specific amount, donate a percentage of your estate or designate a specific asset you own to the temple.
  2. Decide if the gift is to be unrestricted or designated for a specific important temple need such as general operations, education, ritual or captial funding.
  3. Consult your attorney, financial advisor or tax advisor for assistance in structuring your gift in a way that is most advantageous to you.
  4. Let the Temple Office Manager know of your intent at (973) 239-1321 or
