In 2 sessions, we will be offering a virtual tour of Jewish Argentina on Sunday, November 22 and on Sunday, December 6 at 12:00 PM. Part I will address the immigration and history of the Jews in Argentina between the 16th C. and World War II, Inquisition in America and Jewish gauchos and a pogrom in Buenos Aires. Part II will look at Argentina during World War II, Nazis in Latin America, Eichmann, terror attacks, political and economic crises, emigration waves and Jewish life and culture today. Our tour guide is Claudia Hercman, daughter of Polish emigrees to Buenos Aires and will show us images and short videos of the most important Jewish sites. Cost of these tours is $12 p.p.
