Brotherhood, a strong and dependable organization within the Temple, performs a multitude of services for both the congregation and community. We are an active member of the North American Federation of Temple Brotherhoods.

Brotherhood sponsors several Sunday morning breakfasts and Pasta Dinners throughout the year, along with interesting programs and  guest speakers. Other activities sponsored by Brotherhood include: a softball league, a family picnic and a Temple blood bank. The brotherhood at Temple Sholom works closely with Sisterhood (as well as other Temple committees) to provide social activities and opportunities for tzedakah, not only for our members but for and with families and individuals in our congregation.   

Brotherhood dues are $35 per year. Of this amount, we keep $24 for local use. We use this money to fund breakfast meetings or pasta dinners, plan a Sunday picnic for congregational families, subsidize a confirmand who wants to join the class trip to Amsterdam, or buy a laminator for the Religious School. We try to fill the needs of our Temple and community.
